Description
Automatic condensate removal pump for installations where the indoor unit's condensate drain can't gravity-drain to an existing drain line — common in basement furnace/air-handler closets and attic installs. Float-switch activated, and most units include an integrated safety switch output that can shut the system down (or trigger an alarm) if the pump fails and water backs up, preventing overflow damage. Rated for roughly 20 ft of vertical lift, adequate for most residential condensate runs.
